About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hi,
I hold a Taiwanese passport with U.S. green card and have a 2yr Travel Document of PROC which I applied here in the US. My flight is to HK, but once I land in HK I will take the train to go to Shenzhen and then travel to other Chinese cities from Shenzhen, then come back to the US. Do I need a HK visa? Thanks.

Chinese residents of Taiwan living overseas who wish to enter the HKSAR for transit, visit, employment, training, study, residence as dependants or as entrants under the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme or the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme should apply for an appropriate entry permit.

Therefore, you need to apply for Hong Kong entry permit at the Chinese embssy/consulate in USA
