About:Chinese Embassy in Spain

I'm a brazilian citizen who is currently studying in Spain.
I just read on the chinese visa requirements that a spanish resident card is obligatory. I don't have it, but I do have a spanish visa. Can I use this visa instead of the spanish resident card to apply for the chinese visa?
thank you
