About:Macau Visa Policy

Hi,

I am working here in Macao. My family from Philippines will come to visit me next week. Their flight is via HK and their iteniraty is 16 days. Philippine passport holders are just allowed for 14 days. Will the immigration or the Airline hold them? We want to stay in HongKong for 2 days and come to Macau on the rest of the days and back to HongKong for flying back to Philippines.

Also, Do I need to send them a Invitation Letter or Affidavit of Consent/Support? My children are minor of age and they are travelling with their mother.

Your reply is very much appreciated.

You'd better send them an Invitation letter as their sponsor, the certificate from your company stating your position ,monthly or yearly salary is also helpful for them.

I'm a little puzzled by your itineray, will they stay in Hong Kong for 2 days and stay in Macau for 14 days, as I know, Philippines passport holder enjoy 14 days visa free period in Hong Kong and 30 days visa free period in Macau, if they won't stay in Hong Kong for more than 14 days or stay in Macau for more than 30 days, they don't need a visa. Please don't worry.
