About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi Everyone,

I am travelling from Hong Kong to Tokyo Narita via Shanghai on 4th July and returning 6th July. I booked this, and all flights are on China Eastern Airlines (MU)

Does China Eastern Airlines offer connecting flights whereas my bags will get checked all the way through to Tokyo, and will I be issued with both boarding passes in HKG for my flights to NRT and vice versa?

The flights that ZUJI let me booked arrived into Shanghai Pudong at 10:20am, and the next flight departed PVG at 12:00pm, giving me only 1 hr and 40 minutes. Is that enough time? I have about 3 hour transit on the way back.

I have read many sites that say I have to collect luggage and recheck in, but wondering if this was different for China Eastern flights travelling into and out of Shanghai.

Any information will be greatly appreciated, thanks :)

If this is a connecting flight and be of the same airlines, they will offer lugguage check-through sservice for you. I think you should be told and asked to have this serive when you buy the ticket. Then you do not have to collect the luggage and recheck in. Time is enough between international flight transfer.
