About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

I am from India. I studied MBBS in china. Right now i am continuing my studies in Nepal. I want to go to china in a couple of weeks to get a few certificates from my old university in China. My student visa of China expired 8 months ago. Will i be able to get a tourist visa to China in Kathmandu. I know i can apply even in Delhi but i don't want to go to Delhi because i am a little low on budget. What are the documents that i need to submit in order to apply for the Tourist Visa? Will the China embassy in Kathmandu grant me visa or will they ask me to go to Delhi and apply there as i am an Indian citizen? Sorry to trouble with so many questions. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

I guess that you can apply for China tourist visa in Kathmandu if you hold valid Nepalese student visa or residence permit. the following documents are required for tourist visa application:
one completed visa application form, one recent photograph for passport, passport valid up to at least six months with blank pages, two-way flight tickets.
