hey which is the cheapest and most convenient mode of transport? and where can u get cheap shoes, clothes,bags etc in bejing

Both of the subway and city-bus is very convenient and cheap in Beijing. The subway only charges CNY2/time, and the city-bus gives 60% discount if you apply for a Tranportation Smart Card.

As for shopping, you could go to these wholesale markets. There are some large ones located around Beijing Zoo, where you could reached by subway Line 4 and many city buses.
