What are the usual requirements for me to get a work visa(Z)?

Hi! I am a Filipina who is invited to work as an English Teacher in a University in China. What are the usual requirements for me to get a Z visa? Are there chances that I would be denied a working visa despite the documents sent to me? Thanks! :)
