Ms.Tam,

I am wondering if you are interested in shopping. If so, you may go to Wangfujing Street and Xidan area. There are many shopping malls.

Sorry for misunderstanding you. You may go to Nanjing Road for shopping and then have fun in Bund. If you are interested, you may take boat on the Huangpu River to enjoy the scenery along the river.

That sound nice for me. Thank you (:
Now i'm having problems about buying the world expo tickets
so far the student tickets (90 yuan) are sold out in Beijing : (
I'm just wondering will the student tickets are still available?
I heard that the tickets are more expensive when the expo starts?
Does anyone have more details about the tickets?

Ms.Tam,
As far as I know, the student tickets are only for student group admission. Here are the requirements:
For groups with no less than 30 students
For standard day only
Tickets should be purchased in advance and reservation is required before entry
Valid for one entry on the day of admission

The group tickets are not available for individuals. The Student Group Admission is sold through the authorized travel agents in the form of tour package for students or through the educational institutes.

The tickets during expo session is a bit expensive but not as expensive as you think. You just need pay 10 RMB more. Check this link: http://en.expo2010.cn/services/hqfw.htm

The Standard Day Special Admission is the kind of ticket, I'm looking for.
Now I think they're all sold out in Beijing.
It wouldn't be bad idea to buy tickets when we arrive Shanghai right?
not risky? not too late??
I'm fine with 10 yuan higher price because it'll be 100 yuan for special admission ticket.
But if standard day single day admission is like 150-160 yuan.
That way is too much for us.

Ms.Tam,

You can buy ticket after you arrive in Shanghai. For buying ticket, please check “ticket purchase channels” on this page: http://en.expo2010.cn/expotickets/indexn.htm

Well, there will be definitely a great deal of people in Shanghai in May. Be prepared!
