5 of us going to see expo on may 5 to 8 , we will arrive in shanghai on may 4th. we are planning to buy 3 days entry ticket. Is it fine that  we buy the tickets on site and enter the same day ? - or it is better that we buy the tickets in singapore agent now ? The singapore agent said there is no date on the ticket that means we can enter anytime between may 5th to 8 th ?

If you can buy it in the ticket agent in Singapore, buy it in advance. Actually, visitors can buy the ticket at the same day when they get there. There will be a lot of visitors then. To save your time and to be safe, buy it earlier. There are different kinds of ticket. Is it 3-day Admission of standard days? If so, yes,  you can enter anytime during the days.
