About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi there,
I will be leaving Australia to go back to Canada in the summer but will be stopping in Beijing for a week. Do I still need to apply for a visa even though it is only a week that I am staying? Thanks

yes, you need a visa for one week stay in Beijing, you can apply for Transit visa (G visa) if you hold a valid visa from the destination country/region and tickets for connection flights. or you can apply for tourist visa (L visa)
