Mrs.Kim Lang, The Consulate General in Sydeney has stopped to accept ordinary visa applications by 12:00pm of 4th of December, 2009. You have to go to Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) in Sydeny to submit visa application.

Detailed information about the CVASC:
Address: Level 5, 299 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (opposite MUSEUM STATION);

Tel: 61-2-94758800
Fax: 61-2-92612088
Website: www.visaforchina.com.au
E-mail: visaforchia.org|sydcenter

applicants holding Diplomatic, Service or Official passport, or who are qualified to apply for the Chinese Diplomatic, Service, or courtesy visa , or who apply for Hongkong visa/ entry permit, should still submit the application directly to the Chinese Consulate General as usual
