About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi, I am a malaysian and travel to Hainan Island with my husband for 2 days. May I know we need to apply for China Visa? Thanks.

yes, you need to apply for China visa, Visas are not required of citizens of Malaysians, who join group tour to Hainan province, provided they hold valid ordinary passports and stay in Hainan not exceeding 21 days.

No, you have to apply for the visa from the China Embassy in Malaysia in advance if you won't join a group.
