About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hi,
I arrive in China March 21st, and I am flying out April 20th. According to my calculations, I stayed for 30 days, but according to my accommodation manager, I am going to stay 31 days (exactly one extra day). Besides that I am going to be kicked out of my room, what will happen at the airport? Are they going to fine me?

yes, you stay in China for 31 days in total, the date of entry is also counted as one day stay. If the visa only permits you stay in China for 30 days after entry, you overstay 1 day, the immigration officer at the airport will fine you at a rate of 500 RMB for 1 day overstay.
