Hi , I am traveling to china-Beijing-guilin-shanghai on this weekend for 12 days.I would like to visit changbai shan but I am unable to determine whether the roads are open or not as not many tour operators take foreigners there.(or so I am told)
Is it possible to go there around april22nd , are the roads and the nature reserve open ?I intend to fly directly from Beijing.
And can I visit this place with kids ( 5 and 4 year old) ?I don't intend to do any sort of hiking.
