About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi, I hold a Singapore ordinary passport. I wish to visit and stay in China for 3-6 months. I want to apply for a 6mths tourist visa. I met all the requirements except for hotel reservation.. I intend to rent an apartment in China since I am staying for 3-6mths. Its gonna cost me alot if I live in hotel for up to 6mths..

How do I go about to apply for my visa if I dont have hotel reservation?

Requirements for tourist visa application:
1. One completely filled out visa application form. No item should be blank .

2. One recently taken 2X2 inch photo showing entire face and without a hat on. Please affix the photo to the application form.

3. Original passport with at least 2 blank visa pages and valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of application.

4. Round trip airline ticket

sometimes, the hotel reservation is not required by visa officer, if the hotel reservation is required, you can just book the hotel for a few days. If you just get a Single entry visa valid for 3 months, you can extend it at the local exit & enter department under the public security bureau.
