About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am an Iranian student in Malaysia. Ishould to take part in a congress in Suzhou-China in 28-31may 2010. I have an invitation letter from the conference office and I want to appy for china visa. I have Malaysian visa validity untill 22Jul2010.
Is it possible for me to get a china visa?

Mrs.Nasim, it is not easy to answer this question, first, your Malaysian visa will expire on 22nd July, 2010. second, you only have the invitation letter from the conference, you don't have the original visa notification issued by authorized departments of Chinese Government (the conference organizor can get it for you), maybe the visa officer will refuse your application because you don't have the original visa notification.
