we will travel to Dongguan from Macau for a group of 6 men.All of us can't speak or read Chinese,  only English for us.We want to enjoy nightlife there but still have no idea which area to goWe will take Ferry to shenzhen 1) Which port to disembark between Fuyong & Shekou to get closer to Dongguan?2) Which area in Dongguan should we stay in order to enjoy nightlife?3) After disembarking, which is the most safe & convenient way to go that area in Dongguan?    4) If we travel by TAXI, We don't want to be cheated by TAXI driver or quarrel with him.     the driver mayn't use Metre. What's estimated FARE from Ferry to that area in Dongguan?   Rough is fine.

you are arriving by ferry into Shenzhen ?  Then you will arrive at Shekou area of Shenzhen.  Get into a cab and head straight to Lowu Train Station.  Get a train ticket to Chang Ping (40rmb) and that should be 40min train ride.Arrive in Chang Ping and most hotels are between 150-350rmb a night... i have stayed at the Miraton very nice.  Lion Hotel is also not bad.Just walk around the area and not be afraid to walk into a nightclub.  They will explain charges but normally for 3 bottles of whiskey   room   fruits etc should cost about 2000-3000 rmb

Shekou to Dongguan taxi is about 250 to 300rmb and about 1.5hrs I use a driver Mr Zhang.  He has MPV that seats 8 very comfortably 86-13600255490.  He has good leads too on where to stay, where to go and what to do in Dongguan area.Have to give him a call a day or two in advance
