I was told that it is veru difficult to get train ticket at train station. Planned to travel from Xian to Pingyao and Pingyao to Datong by train in May. How can I get the train tickets.

You can book the tickets on this website. Buy if your travel time is during the labor day holiday (May 1 to 3), the tickets will be hard to get.
