About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hello, and thank you for any help you can give!

I am currently a student at Western Carolina University and will be graduating in May with a B.A. in Marketing. It has always been a dream of mine to live in Hong Kong. I am currently sifting through various visa options, but I cannot figure out which is a good fit. My goal is to stay in Hong Kong and find employment while there. Is this a reasonable goal? And if so which visa should I apply for? If this is not reasonable, what are my options? Is it legal to stay 90 days as a visitor, find employment and then apply for a work visa?

Any help that I receive will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks again!

USA passport holders are exempt from visa to Hk for as long as 90 days, so you may fully use the duration to find a job in Hk and then apply for an employment visa to stay in HK.
