About:Chinese Embassy in Libya

Would like to know is there any direct train service from Pingyao to Datong? How long it takes and the cost?
I was told that in order to buy a train ticket for foreigners , you need to purcahes a local insurance,can anyone confirm this?

Local insurance? I don't know that. Suggest you buy in the train station or appointed train ticket offices. There are trains between Pingyao and Datong. It will take 7 hours. For details, you can find at
