About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

Hi,
As a Swiss citizen, do I need a letter of invitation to obtain a visa? I am going to visit friends for 10 days in April.

Thanks

Mrs.Burri, generally speaking, the invitation letter is not required for Swiss applicants who go to China for visiting friends, however, each application is considered on its own merits, maybe the visa officer will asks you to provide the invitation letter from your friend in China.
