About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi there, I have an australian passport. However I'm currently working in japan. I would like to travel to China later on. Can I apply china tourist visa in Japan? Do I need to show my bank statement? How long can I stay in China? Thanks

yes, you can apply China tourist visa in Japan, the bank statement is not required.

normally speaking, a visa holder may stay in China for 1 month which counts from the date of his/her entrance into China. To stay longer, you need to specify your request in your application form and it'll be subject to the permission of the consul in charge.
