About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I am returning from traveling to S.E.Asia and stop in Shanghai for 36 hours. I am a Canadian citizen. Do I need a visa to go into town, ride the train or to shop and get a hotel room for one night? Or, must I remain in the airport the whole time?

None visa will be required if your transfer duration is in 48 hours. You could go to downtown area for a visit of course:)
