About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen and my wife is a Chinese citizen, we both live in the UAE and have valid residence visas there. We wish to visit Hong Kong for a week on our way to Beijing later this year. Does my wife need a Hong Kong visa for the visit?

Mr. Rogers, your Chinese wife need a Hong Kong visa (in fact it is called Hong Kong entry permit). PRC passport holders living overseas wishing to enter the HKSAR for visit should apply for an entry permit. For details, please refer to http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_7.htm
