hi there anyone, My husband is having stem cell treatment in Bethune hospital april 2010 has anyone else had the procedure done and can give us some hints about what to expect, He suffers with a lung disease and i am worried about the  air quality as i suffer with asthma. many thanks for any info also what temperature to expect we live near the Gold Coast of australia and it is warm and balmy at present iam worried about the cold weather...shall we need sheepskin coats?

Do not expect high on this city. It is a light industrial city and the air condition can not be good as Cold Coast of Australia. The weather is not mild, hot summer and cold winter. It is becoming warm in April. Need to wear a light coat and shirt inside.

I was there for the month of January and found the air quality to be very poor and would suggest taking along any medicine that may help. The weather in April is generally warm (light jacket). Let me know if you have any questions I can help with
