About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am a US citizen with a US passport. I would like to travel to China from the Philippines to visit Shanghai and Beijing to tour to at least 10 days. What visa requirements or paperwork do I need. I will be traveling in June 5th. Please let me know. I would appreciate your prompt guidance. Thank you very much...

if you have time, you'd better apply in USA, it is easy to get one in USA, the single entry tourist L is generally valid for 3 months and permits 30 days stay in China, the earlist time for you to apply for it is March 5. If you apply for it now, it is still valid when you enter China on June 5.

Saw response "earliest apply MArch 5". I travel to China Feb 10, before 3/5. What does this mean? Was going to Embassy to get it today, 1/20.

Hi Nicolson, a single entry Chinese visa is valid for 3 months only, so you can apply now. What adam means is the visa will expire if you apply too early before visit.
