About:Beijing Hot Pot Restaurants

Hi, I will be visiting Beijing in this summer for one week and will be staying in 161 Hostel, Li Shi Hu Tong, Dong Si Nan Da Jie Dong Cheng Qu, Beijing, 100010. I plan to have a try on the Quanjude roast duck, Dadong roast duck, Donglaishun hotpot, shanghai bao (bun), little dragon bun, shao mai (dumpling) or dim sum. Could anyone let me know the nearest restaurant from my hotel or walking distance from subway? I can't read chinese and find it too hard to search the information from internet. It would be best if you could give me the address of the restaurant as well preferably walking distance from subway. Thanks.

This hotel is located in the walking-distance to the Dongsi Station of metro Line 5, about 300meters. Please take it easy, that all of the metro stations and street name in Beijing have English translation.

Well, my suggestion is that you take the metro Line 5 to Chongwenmen station and then transfer to Line 2 to get ot Qianmen. Qianmen is a famous pedestrian street in Beijing, along which you could find all of the traditional Beijing food and snacks, such as Quanjude, Donglaishun and these dim sum one by one.

As for Dadong Roast Duck, there is a restaurant located just about 3km away from the hotel, so please go there with a taxi(CNY11). The restaurant address is: 东四十条甲22号南新仓国际大厦1-2楼 (1~2F, Nanxincang International Mansion, Jia22, Dongsishitiao).
