About:Chinese Embassy in Mexico

Is it possible for an american citizen to obtain a chinese visa in mexico if they are in mexico on a tourist visa? Thanks

you can have a try because you are american citizen, generally speaking, you should hold a Mexican residence permit or other document permitting you live in Mexico for an extended period, you can apply for Chinese visa in Mexico.
