About:Chinese Consulates in India

Hi,

I am going to HK for official purpose for a fortnight, for which I will submit a letter from my HK office stating that I am coming to attend conferences. Hence, I will get Visa on arrival. But, I later on wish to extend my stay and tour HK, China & Macau with my parents who will come from India in a tour. Kindly let me know how can I extend my stay for another 3 days in HK and then go to China & Macau.

Ms.Ami, visa is not required for you if you stay in HK for less than 14 days, if you want to stay for another 3 days in Hk, the easiet way is you exit Hong Kong and enter Macau, Indians are exempt from a visa to Macau for up to 30 days, so you don't need a visa to Macau. Then you can enter Hong Kong again for another 14 days visa free period.
