Well, you may find an English Corner at these local universities, such as Sichuan Univeristy, there is an English Corner at every Friday night.0

I recommend a cafe named High Connection (Chinese Speaking: Jia Lian Ka Fei) near Southwest Financial Universtiy. The owner speaking Eng and there is a Eng corner also.0

Jian Yang is very near to Chengdu and you can take bus from Jian Yang to Chengdu within about 1 hour.0
