About:Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan

I live in Kazakhstan on a working visa(expiring 14th of April), and I want to travel to China early April. I booked already a flight from Kazakhstan through China, and back to my home country Holland(I also have a Dutch passport). Only the embassy refused to give a visa to my husband, can we try again by showing our flight ticket?
The reason of refusing is that our Kazakh visa is expiring, but we can prove we're not going back to Kazakhstan because of the ticket.

What should you advise, how to arrange a visa? Thank you very much for your answer already!

Mrs.Plantinga, yes, I think that you can have a try to apply for Chinese visa by showing your flight ticket to China, from China to the Netherlands to prove that you will not return to Kazakhstan. Good Luck!
