About:Hong Kong Disneyland

Hello,

We are travelling to Hongkong this coming March 11 to 14 2010. We are 8 adults and 1 child (2 years old). We are staying at Dorsett Far East. We want to go Disneyland and our travel agent is offering us a Disneyland Entrance Ticket with transfers to and from the hotel for $60 USD (which is about HK $.) I would like to ask if it's cheaper to buy the ticket from Disneyland itself for HK $350 ( USD $45) and then ride the MRT? OR is it more cheaper to get the package of USD $60 from the travel agent?

How much would it cost per head for MTR commute from Dorsett Far East to Disneyland? And is it convenient even if we stay in Disneyland until around 8pm?

Please help.

Thanks!

Ms.Anne,

One day ticket (Disneyland) is HK$350 for adults and HK$250 for children (3 to 11 years old). Dorsett Far East Hotel is very close to Tsuen Wan MTR Station. Probably you can walk there. Here is the location of Dorsett Far East Hotel:

If you take MTR to Disneyland, it costs HK$15.5(single ticket) and HK$13.5(Octopus card). Take Tsuen Wan Line from Tsuen Wan to Lai King and then take Tung Chung to Sunny Bay. Then take Disneyland Resort Line to Disneyland.

In total, an adult will need HK$350 (Disneyland entrance ticket) and HK$ 31 (round-way MTR ticket). Then you can decide if your travel agency’s offer is cheap or not.
