My hubby, our girls (aged 9,4 & 1) and I are planning for a trip to Beijing in September. I suppose it would be autumn then, what should we be packing?  And during that period, what attractions should we not miss.

It is autumn at that time. But it is a bit hot too. You can wear your T-shirts too. But remember to bring your thin jacket in case of temperature drop. If you go to Beijing in late autumn (October to early November), you might go to Fragrant Hills Park to appreciate autumn leaves. During that period, you may go to visit some famous attractions such as Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Great Wall, Bird Nest and Water Cube.
