About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hi,

I'm travelling for one year and did just apply for a chinese visa in Kuching, Malaysia.
I asked for a double or multiple entry visa, but at the consulate they said I was only allowed to have a single entry visa for 30 days. I'm planning to fly to Shenzen (only possible entry port from Borneo), take a short visit to Hong Kong and continue further on in China. But if I understand correct I'll need a double entry visa if I want to go to Hong Kong and return to China...
How can I obtain a double entry visa before going to Hong Kong since it doesn't seem possible from Kuching.

Ms.Sofie, you need a double entry visa if you go to Shenzhen - Hong Kong - Mainland China, you can use the single entry Chinese visa to Shenzhen first, when you go to Hong Kong, you can apply for Chinese visa in Hong Kong, at the Commissioner's Office of Ministry of Foreign Affaires of PRC in HKSAR,
