About:Beijing Taxi

Traveling from Beijing West train station to Beijing Capital airport, is it better to take the shuttle or a taxi? Approximately how long does it take to get there and what is the approximate cost? For someone with very limited Mandarin, is the shuttle easy to find and take?

Any advise would be appreciated...Thanks

If your time is urgent, please hire a cab driving to the airport. It will take you no more than one hour and about CNY100 by meter. Please change to another taxi if the driver refuses to charge by meter.

Alternatively, in front of the Zhongyan Hotel (中盐饭店)located at the south square of the West Railway Station, you could catch the shuttle bus Line 7 to the airport. The journey will be about one hour and takes you CNY16. You could follow the signs to get to the hotel easily.

Mr. Hank, thank you very much for your assistance. We should have plenty of time to get to the airport but we'll make the final decision on how to get there when we arrive at the train station.

I will print and keep your information with me.

Thanks Again.
