Where to buy notebooks in Beijing?

Hi, I'm going to Beijing in a couple of weeks and would like to buy a netbook while I'm there. I would like Lenovo or another major brand. Can you tell me approximately how much I should expect to pay? Also, can you suggest a good market for buying netbooks? Xie xie!

It is very easy to purchase a netbook in Beijing. You could find Lenovo, Sony, HP and others easily at these department stalls and shopping plazas. For the latest model and reasonable price, you could go to Zhongguancun, where you could find many electronic products markets. As for the price, it will depend on which netbook you will choose. Generally, you could get a common one around 5,000RMB, and much better at 7,000~10,000RMB.

My advice would be don't go to Zhongguancun unless you are a IT pro and you know the price for the notebook. I'm a local, and I dare not buy stuff there.

Well, since you will be in Beijing for a couple of weeks, I would suggest you buy the notebook online from this webiste: www.360buy.com. It offers the cheapest price for the eletronic products such as notebook. And all the products you buy from this website are authentic and real. Me and my friends bought electronic products from this website. For this, you need to have someone help you do this, a chinese friend or other people reliable.

Or, if you can't find some one to help you book online, you can go to the big home appliance shopping malls, like Gome and Suning. The qualifities of the products there are secured. You don't have to worry about getting ripped off. They have many chainshores around the city and in big shopping malls.

The places mentioned above, are they genuine laptops?

If not, where in Beijing can I buy genuine certified laptops?
