About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Hi,

Does the Chinese Consulate in Toronto take possession of your Canadian passport while they're processing your Visa application?

I brought my passport in today, and gave it to the woman at the counter. But I don't remember getting it back from her, and I just realized that I don't have it in my possession right now. I'm a little worried and am wondering whether they have it or if I've really lost it.

Thanks,
Mr. Lost

yes, the Chinese consulate in Toronto takes possession of your Canadian paspsort during the time of processing your visa application. Please don't worry, you can collect your passport and visa on the date written on the Pick-up Form, do you get the Pick-up Form?
