About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi

I would like to apply for a chinese visa single entry, but I live in Sydney.

You mailing option does not include NSW - please advise the approach to getting the visa? i.e. do I need to come in in person or can I mail. Do you want us to only put the receipt of payment into the envelope.
I would like to go possibly in April over Easter to see my family.

Thanks

From April 8, 2008, the Consulate General of China in Sydney no longer accepts visa application by mailing. If you can't go to the consulate personally to submit application, you can entrust your relatives, friends, travel agencies or visa agencies to submit it on your behalf. However, the Chinese Visa Application Form must be signed by you. You can also entrust them to collect your visa by showing the Pick-Up Receipt to consular officials.
