About:

Hi!
We (7 people)are planning to go to Suzhou from Shanghai.
Could you provide me information about fares/ train schedule if we choose
bullet trains to Suzhou/ normal train to Suzhou?
I assume we need to departure from Shanghai Railway station?
Do you recommend to get to Suzhou by own car?

If you have a car, please drive it to Suzhou, so you could arrange time freely.

Alternatively, it is very easy to shuttle between Shanghai and Suzhou by bullet trains. Just takes about 40 minutes for one-way trip. Here is the train search tool for you: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/
