Hi!
i am in Nanjing right now and want to visit Beijing with my family. Which month is betetr to travel and by what mode (economical). I have a son of 4yrs and daughter 6 months. I will be back to India in May end so i wanna visit beijing before that. How far is Beijing from nanjing.

I think April is fine. It is getting warm at that time. The economical mode should be train. There are D trains, which takes only 8 hours. Take night train and arrive Beijing at next morning. The trains has sleeper.
