Could you please advise the availability of trains from Guanghou (Canton) to Hanoi (Vietnam).My wife and I would like to travel in July in a 'soft sleeper'. Would you please advise the times of departure and arrival and the cost of travel, thank you,         Geoff Herbert

I asked some of my friends. We do not know that there is direct train from Guangzhou to Hanoi. Here is another option: you can take a soft sleeper train, which costs about 250RMB, to Pinxiang. Then change to a coach and you will reach Hanoi directly. I do not know clearly about the coach ticket fair. But it shouldn't be expensive. ;)
