Is it perfectly okay for me to purchase a train ticket in Hung Hom Station going to Beijing the same day I arrive in Hong Kong?

I'll arrive in Hong Kong in the morning of Feb. 18 and planning buy a train ticket going to Beijing in the afternoon. (I have a China Visa.) Xiexie!
