About:Getting Around Macau

We already booked our hotel at The Venetian for 2 nights dated Feb 6-8, but check-in time is 1pm. We will arrive at Macau on Feb 6, 2:00am. We are planning to book for a temporary room at downtown while we are waiting for our check-in time at The Venetian. Pls recommend cheapest guest house we can stay near downtown and advise places we can start to tour/explore between the time we arrived until 12pm.

I do not recommend guest house in town. It will costs 50MOP or so from the airport to the place and you will back to Taipa Island when you can check-in at The Venetian. You can take a taxi to Hotel Taipa and the room price is about 350MOP (perhasp cheaper if you book the hotel online). It is near to the hotel and close to the Venetian.
