About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

We plan to visit yunnan kunming, lijiang-dali and yulong snow mt on Feb 10. My mum is 77 yrs old.
please advise on the weather condition and is it suitable for old folk to visit such a high altitute area during Feb.

Kunming is warmer than Dali and Lijiang. The temperature in Kunming varies from 12 to 15 degrees, Dali around 10 degrees and Lijiang about 8 degrees. If you intend to climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, better bring some thick clothes. Or you can rent some coats at the foot of the mountain. Personally, I don’t think it is suitable for an old folk to climb the snow mountain. If you insist, better rent or buy oxygen bottles to avoid altitude sickness.
