I would like to buy local men's clothing -shirts and pants. What are the normal size measurements? North American sizes are too large for an athletic Asian Chinese and I am trying to find the right sizes in China!

Shirt size: American size 16 =Chinese 41 (for 175cm height, or written as 175/96A), 16.5 = 42.
For pants, you may see: 175/80A (also M) 180/84A (Also L) 185/88A (also XL) are respectively 6, 7, 8 in NOrth American. The number after leigth is waistline.
For different brands of clothes, there is slight difference although the clothes are the same size. So, you should try them on.
