About:Hangzhou Weather

Hi. My family of eight are planning our vacation to Hangzhou & Shanghai in early April this year. As our family consist of some young children and retired veterans age 70's to 80's, we need advice on the weather in Hangzhou & Shanghai. What suitable clothes and foot wear to bring along to China from 1st to 10th April. What is the lowest and highest temperature. Our next vacation is to Guilin in end of May 2010. We need the same advice. Any good advice?? Thank you.

Temperature in Hangzhou&Shanghai is about 14-20C in early April. It is getting warmer everyday, but it is still in the rainy season. T shirt and jacket is enough and wear sport shoes. The temperature is above 20C in Guilin. Beside Yangshuo, I think it is a nice idea to see the Dragon Back Terraces in Longsheng in Late May. People will dry the water in rice fields and it is considered to be a good time to see the terraces.
