Hello, Howard Tan, here is the relevant train schedule I got, you can take the D-prefaced train from Chongqing to Chengdu, which is very convenient. The below is the relevant train schedules. Hope it helps. Beijing (West)/ Xi’an  Z19  2118/0819 , Z53 2154/0825 ; Xi’an/ Chengdu K879 1730/1120  and CD/CQ D5112 1653/1900, D5114 1932/2131, etc. You can buy the train tickets 10 days before its departure in the railway station from the departure city.
