Question

I will be touring China for 2 weeks in March 2010 then continuing to Indonesia. Coming back home to Canada, I will be staying 1 night in a hotel outside Shanghai Pudong airport as the flight arrives at 22:45 and the connecting flight is next day at 18:00.  Do I need a single or double visa to China?  Thanks.

single entry visa. You do not have a special permit to get out of Pudong airport and then get back again the other day. Pudong is free of visa within 48 hours' stay, allowing to get out of the airprot.
