hello, we will be travelling to Macau from January 20-24... they said the weather is too cold, i need to know if i will bring thick clothes...and i want to know the best place to shop for cheap clothing and bags...thank you!

It is around 10C and below 10 if it is really cold. Thick clothes are necessary. You can get to buy clothes in Rua dos Mercadores, not far away from the Senado Square.
