About:Tianjin Travel

Hi there, I would appreciate some guidance :
1. we are arriving Tianjin by air, but will need to make our way to Beijing by high speed train. How do we go about this. I am travelling with little children in a group of 7.
2. on the way back, I am planning to spend two nights in Tianjin before catching our flight in Tianjin. Where is the best street to stay to maximise our time to visit the main tourist attractions in Tianjin and what are they?
Thank you very much

Take taxi (you need two cabs) from the airport to Tianjin Railway Station, if you feel not convevient to take airport bus.
Stay in Drum Tower and Old Cultural Street area in the city center. There are Nanshi Food Street, Old Cultural Street, Drum Tower, Temple of the Queen of Heaven, and Haihe River Bund Park a bit further in the south.

Thank you. Can you please advise if I can buy the speed train tickets online or do I get it at the Railway station when I get there? Is the price the same for adults and children?

Hi Julia, you could purchase the ticket when you arrive at the railway station. The child under 1.1meters could take the train for free, child between 1.1meters and 1.5meters could purchase 50% discount-priced ticket.
